A MINI adventure 3,600 miles across the Atlantic Ocean
17-11-2023 Finish
after almost 6 days of racing I finished second. It was a beautiful sailing experience. We started with almost no wind and finished with lots of wind in Lanzarote
The sailing was great! Clear sky during the nights and wind during the days. Only the windvane broke 3 times. South Atlantic should do some adjustments to the vane to prevent everything getting lose!
The last miles were great sailing with big waves and >25knots of wind. Surfing down the waves made me do a nose-dive three times!
Very happy to be 2nd in Lanzarote.
11-11-2023 Start of qualifier
10-11-2023 Update: start is 1 day earlier because of wind
The wind predictions are not realy hopefull so we start 1 day early to be on time in Lanzarote. So start will be on Saturday 11-11. The starting vessel is Martini Expresso! great to have a official start!
9-11-2023 training day
a really great day on the water! Did some training with the windvane and the A5
